Dubai Fashion Week 2025 Unveils Exciting Lineup for Spring/Summer Edition
Dubai Fashion Week (DFW), the city's premier fashion event co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3) and the Arab Fashion Council, kicks off its Spring/Summer 2025 edition on Monday, 2nd September.
The week-long event promises to solidify Dubai’s position as a global fashion hub with a mix of haute couture and ready-to-wear showcases from prominent and emerging designers.
The haute couture segment begins with star-studded designer duo Rizman Ruzaini, followed by exclusive collections from Spanish designer Adolfo Dominguez and local icon Keepa. Keepa’s presentation, directed by French Egyptian designer Mariam Yeya, will feature the Spring/Summer 2025 collection "Need Therapy," accompanied by a thought-provoking short film in collaboration with VOX Cinemas.
DFW will then shift focus to ready-to-wear collections from over 30 international brands, representing countries such as France, India, Indonesia, and the UAE. The event culminates on 6th September with Italian luxury fashion house Roberto Cavalli presenting a bespoke collection, marking the grand finale.
Additionally, the inaugural "La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition," presented by the Italian Trade Agency, runs from 1st to 3rd September. This three-day exhibition will spotlight 25 Italian brands showcasing clothing, footwear, leather goods, and eyewear, highlighting the deepening cultural and economic ties between Italy and the UAE.
Thread Talks 3.0, a key feature of this season, will occur on 4th September. This panel discussion, a collaboration between Meta and DFW, will address the future of fashion with insights from leading industry figures.
The week also includes exclusive private dinners, a buyers' lunch, and special events hosted by Swarovski, Instagram, and Kiko Milano. New sponsor Persil will emphasize sustainable fashion with its relaunch of Persil Shampoo, aligning with DFW’s commitment to responsible consumption.
