Dubai’s Department of Finance (DOF) has signed an MoU with PwC Academy to introduce a Tax Professional Certificate tailored for tax professionals within Dubai government entities. This initiative offers specialised training in UAE Value-Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Tax (CT), delivered in Arabic and English, and includes diplomas awarded by the UK's Association of Tax Technicians (ATT-UK).
DOF Director General, H.E. Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, highlighted the certificate's role in aligning with international tax practices while addressing the UAE’s unique financial needs. The programme spans 18 days and 108 training hours, enhancing participants' expertise in tax systems to improve governmental efficiency and economic growth.
This first-of-its-kind initiative in the Arab world underscores the UAE’s commitment to advancing a skilled workforce, supporting its vision for sustainable economic transformation.
