Dubai Finance (DOF) has enabled a wide range of global digital wallets for paying government service fees across all Government of Dubai entities, marking a major step toward the emirate’s cashless future.

The initiative allows individuals, businesses, and visitors to pay for government services using international and regional wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and others. Payments can already be made through the DubaiPay gateway and DubaiNow app, with full activation expected by the end of the year.

His Excellency Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Director General of DOF, described the move as a significant milestone in achieving Dubai’s Cashless Strategy. He said it reflects the emirate’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and alignment with global best practices.

His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, said the integration strengthens the digital economy and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 by enhancing the quality of life through technology-driven services.

His Excellency Matar Saeed Al Hemeiri, CEO of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, noted that expanding digital payment options will simplify transactions for residents and visitors while reinforcing Dubai’s global position in digital transformation.

According to DOF, this initiative is part of ongoing efforts to reduce cash transactions and promote financial inclusion, supporting Dubai’s vision to be among the world’s leading smart cities powered by innovation and advanced digital infrastructure.
