The Financial Audit Authority (FAA) and the Judicial Inspection Authority in Dubai have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in governance, accountability, and institutional performance across the emirate’s public sector.
The agreement outlines collaboration in key areas such as the exchange of legal and audit expertise, knowledge sharing, and best practices in oversight and administrative work. It also establishes regular coordination through meetings, conferences, and seminars to reinforce mechanisms that ensure transparency and sound governance.
Joint training programmes will be launched to build employee competencies in both entities, supported by research and studies focused on improving inspection and audit systems. The two authorities will also exchange expertise in smart systems and modern technologies, including digital analysis and electronic inspection, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of oversight operations.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Hareb, Director General of the Financial Audit Authority, and His Excellency Consular Mohammed Mubarak Al Sabousi, President of the Judicial Inspection Authority, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary General of the Dubai Judicial Council, along with senior officials from both sides.
Al Hareb said the agreement reflects the FAA’s commitment to strengthening governance principles and fostering partnerships that elevate institutional performance.
Al Sabousi emphasized that the partnership aligns with Dubai’s vision of establishing integrated institutional systems that uphold financial and administrative discipline, enhance justice and judicial security, and reinforce the emirate’s position as a global benchmark for performance excellence.
