Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has unveiled two advanced AI-powered features on its iVestor app, aimed at improving accessibility and understanding of company information for investors.
The new additions—Smart Disclosures and Financial Summary—are designed to streamline decision-making and simplify financial data presentation for users.
The updates, announced at the 3rd MENA Capital Market Summit, held from May 6-7 at Madinat Jumeirah, are part of broader enhancements to the iVestor platform. Investors can now trade DFM shares more seamlessly through the app, making it easier to manage their investments on a single platform.
Smart Disclosures uses AI to analyze lengthy company announcements, extracting key points and summarizing them in an easily digestible format. The Financial Summary feature provides a concise snapshot of a company's financial health, focusing on essential metrics such as revenue, profit, and earnings per share. These tools are aimed at saving investors valuable time and helping them make more informed decisions with less effort.
DFM’s CEO, Hamed Ali, emphasized that these new tools cater to the growing demand for intuitive, digital-first investment solutions.
“Improving access to information is part of our broader effort to lower barriers to participation and support a more informed investor base,”
said Ali.
This launch builds on the 2024 revamp of iVestor, which transformed the app into a comprehensive investment platform. With over 240,000 users from more than 100 nationalities, iVestor is rapidly becoming a key gateway to Dubai’s capital markets, with features that support long-term engagement and a simplified user experience.
