The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has announced the agenda and speaker line-up for the 3rd MENA Capital Market Summit, taking place on 6–7 May at Madinat Jumeirah.

The 2025 edition will spotlight major trends shaping global and regional capital markets, from fintech and IPO momentum to cross-border investments and the evolving role of retail investors.

More than 100 senior leaders will take the stage, including Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of DFM; Ken Robins of Citi; Richard Cormack of Goldman Sachs; Simon Williams of HSBC; and Lord Stephen A. Carter of Informa. The event is expected to draw over 1,500 participants and 200 industry partners.

This year’s summit introduces The Hub—an interactive space showcasing platform demos and insights from DFM and its partners on tools fueling market growth. The two-day program also includes keynote addresses, sector-driven panels and in-depth discussions on regulation, private market transformation and investment trends.

Platinum sponsors Bank of America, Citi, Emirates NBD and HSBC will contribute expert commentary on regulatory evolution, digital finance and regional integration. Notably, HSBC was involved in 65 percent of the $26.2 billion raised in UAE IPOs from 2022 to 2025.

Highlighting Dubai’s growing financial prominence, DFM and Nasdaq Dubai CEO Hamed Ali noted that AED10.48 billion was raised via IPOs in 2024, attracting 1.2 million investors from over 200 nationalities.

“This summit arrives at a pivotal time to advance dialogue on innovation, collaboration and regulatory shifts,”

he said.

The event underscores Dubai’s position as a leading capital markets hub in the MENA region.
