Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) has launched Dubai Transform, a pioneering 90-day wellness programme designed to empower Emirati government employees to make lasting lifestyle improvements.
Running until 15 February 2026, the initiative supports 31 participants through a comprehensive journey covering fitness, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and daily lifestyle choices - creating workplace wellness champions who will inspire healthier habits across government entities.
Building on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, to make Dubai one of the most active cities in the world, Dubai Transform extends the legacy of Dubai Fitness Challenge by targeting one of the city's most influential sectors, supporting a culture of long-term wellbeing in public service.
Participants will receive personalised fitness training, gym memberships, health and biomarker testing at two stages, nutritional consultations with meal planning, and wearables to track daily activity.
Weekly coaching sessions provide ongoing motivation and guidance, while participants have already integrated into Dubai Fitness Challenge's 30x30 activities - including Dubai Run presented by DP World, Dubai Yoga, and Fitness Village sessions - experiencing the full spectrum of the city's fitness offerings throughout November.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said:
This programme extends our commitment beyond the annual 30-day challenge to create sustained, measurable impact. By empowering Emirati government employees with the tools and support they need over 90 days, we're investing in the future wellbeing of our community. These participants will become living proof that lasting change is possible, inspiring their colleagues, families, and communities to embrace active lifestyles.
Since its launch in 2017, Dubai Fitness Challenge has inspired more than 16 million participants, with over 3 million taking part in 2025 alone. Dubai Transform reinforces this momentum by cultivating wellbeing advocates within government entities – demonstrating how individual commitment can spark broader community impact.
