Dubai Foundation for Women and Children to Host Padel Tournament on November 8-9

The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) will host a "Padel Tournament" under the theme "We Are Her Support System" on November 8th and 9th at Padel Line.

The event, held as part of the international Orange Campaign to end violence against women and girls, aims to foster community support and empowerment for women.

The tournament invites participants of all ages and genders—women, men, and juniors—to join in solidarity with women. Beyond a sporting competition, the event is intended to send messages of support, respect, and inclusion, encouraging the community to stand united in the fight against gender-based violence.

"This tournament is more than just a sporting event; it is a message that demonstrates our commitment to supporting women and engaging the community,"

said Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of DFWAC.

Al Mansouri emphasized that under the slogan "We Are Her Support System," the foundation aims to inspire active participation in raising awareness for women’s rights.

The initiative aligns with Dubai Social Agenda 33, championed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which promotes family cohesion and social well-being. Through this tournament, DFWAC underscores its dedication to empowering women and strengthening community ties in line with Dubai’s vision for a cohesive society.
