Dubai Founders HQ has wrapped up its inaugural wave of accelerator programmes, producing 36 proof-of-concept opportunities, 15 of which are in advanced due diligence or contracting, and 3 signed agreements — all within a 100-day cycle.

The initiative, backed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, was delivered in partnership with global innovation platform Plug and Play. It brought together 23 startups, including Emirati and resident founders, alongside five corporate partners: DHL, du Business, Emirates Flight Catering, talabat and Visa.

The programme was built around direct corporate demand rather than the open-ended model of traditional accelerators. Partnerships that typically take 12 months or more to develop were compressed into a three-month timeline, with some moving from first introduction to signed agreement within the programme itself.

Two standout collaborations highlight the commercial depth achieved. Emirates Flight Catering partnered with Metis ESG to deploy an ESG due diligence platform giving procurement teams auditable visibility into supplier risk. Talabat worked with Retailhub to scale a real-time inventory solution designed to reduce stockouts across the region.

Participating startups also received over 80 hours of structured mentorship, investor introductions and tailored learning modules covering market entry, product localisation and growth strategy. More than 20 introductions were facilitated with regulators, investors and ecosystem partners.

The programme concluded with a demo day bringing together founders, investors and corporate leaders to showcase live collaborations across finance, logistics, telecommunications, retail and food and beverage.

Hadi Badri, CEO of the Dubai Economic Development Corporation, said the outcomes demonstrate how Dubai is "institutionalising innovation, turning it into a structured, repeatable engine for economic growth" under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Dubai Founders HQ plans to expand sector-focused programmes through further strategic partnerships in its next wave.
