The council emphasized efforts to attract investments by simplifying regulations, leveraging advanced technologies such as AI and big data, and enhancing infrastructure in collaboration with entities like Dubai Roads and Transport Authority.
Key updates included:
- A new Human Resources Approval system that reduced application processing time by 60% and increased operational efficiency by 90%.
- Progress on projects like the Dubai Free Zones Model 2030, corporate tax initiatives, and compliance with the Financial Action Task Force.
- Plans to attract and train Emirati talent for roles within free zones.
The council reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating business, boosting economic accelerators, and achieving the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 goals, including doubling Dubai’s economy and securing its position among the world’s top three cities by 2033.
