DUBAI GAMES 2025: A Record-Breaking Success in Sports and Community Engagement

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the largest edition of the DUBAI GAMES concluded today at Dubai Festival City.

With H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in attendance, the event brought together 244 teams from around the world, marking its most significant year yet. The competition, supported by the Dubai Sports Council and key sponsors like DP World, DAMAC Group, and Emarat, showcased Dubai’s growing prominence as a global sports hub.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan praised the Games, highlighting the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to position Dubai as a center for innovation and excellence. Congratulating the winners, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai’s role in fostering global cultural exchange through such major events.

The competition included categories such as the Battle of the Government, the Battle of the Cities, and the Battle of the Juniors. Montreal, Canada, and Colorado, USA, shared first place in the Battle of the Cities, while Ajman Team won the Battle of the Community. In the juniors' segment, Gravity x Backyard Ninjas claimed victory.

This year's event saw an increase in prize money, totaling over AED 3.35 million. The Games attracted over 25,000 spectators and received strong support from both the public and business sectors, cementing its place as a cornerstone of Dubai's sports calendar.

The success of DUBAI GAMES 2025 sets the stage for future milestones, reinforcing Dubai’s commitment to becoming a global leader in sports and cultural initiatives.
