Dubai is set to celebrate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad in grand style with a series of events from December 2 to 3, showcasing the city’s rich cultural heritage and national pride.

Residents and visitors can enjoy an array of activities, ranging from dazzling fireworks displays to traditional Emirati performances.

Fireworks Extravaganza

Spectacular fireworks will light up the skies across Dubai at popular locations such as JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta, and Dubai Festival City Mall. The displays will be held on both December 2 and 3, with Hatta offering additional entertainment, including traditional folk dances and music. For daily fireworks, residents can head to Dubai's Global Village.

Seasonal Markets and Parades

Several seasonal markets, including Beach Canteen, Ripe Market, and Winter Wonderland, will provide Emirati-themed activities, local food, and retail experiences. City Walk will host the vibrant ‘Union Day Parade’ on December 2, organized in collaboration with Watani Al Emarat, celebrating Emirati culture with traditional dances and performances.

Cultural and Museum Events

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority will host special events at key cultural sites like Hatta Heritage Village and Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, offering a glimpse into Dubai’s rich history. Al Shindagha Museum will feature interactive performances and exhibits, while the Etihad Museum will focus on the UAE’s Union story through exhibitions and cultural events.

Expo City Concert and Light Shows

Expo City Dubai will host a free concert, ‘Union Symphony’, featuring the Firdaus Orchestra performing Emirati national songs. Major parks and landmarks will also be illuminated with light shows, while Dubai Airports will greet visitors with traditional performances, adding to the festive atmosphere.

These celebrations promise to reflect the UAE’s unity, progress, and cultural heritage.
