Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has officially announced the Eid al-Fitr holidays for 1446 Hijri.
As per the circular issued, all Dubai government entities, departments, and institutions will observe a holiday from the 1st to the 3rd of Shawwal 1446 AH, with official work resuming on the 4th of Shawwal 1446 AH.
The circular also states that if Ramadan completes 30 days, the 30th day of Ramadan will be added to the holiday period. However, employees working in shifts, those managing essential public services, and personnel in operational facilities are exempt from this break. Respective departments are responsible for determining work schedules for these categories to ensure uninterrupted service.
On this occasion, DGHR extended warm greetings to the UAE leadership, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, along with the Rulers of the Emirates, UAE citizens, and residents.
