The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) unveiled its advanced Hasana system today at the Healthcare Future Summit 2024.
This innovative digital platform is designed to enhance public health by managing vaccine records, monitoring health standards, and controlling infectious diseases throughout Dubai.
Hasana serves as a unified digital interface connecting public and private healthcare facilities, simplifying the immunization process and ensuring vaccines are delivered swiftly and accurately. By maintaining individual health records and providing instant updates, the system aims to minimize human error in vaccine distribution.
Targeting DHA employees, private health providers, schools, and the general public, Hasana offers advanced features for tracking vaccine stocks and doses.
Dr. Ramadan Ibrahim Al Blooshi, Adviser to the Director-General and Director of the Public Health Protection Department, emphasized that the system exemplifies DHA’s commitment to leveraging smart technologies for effective disease monitoring and response.
The Hasana system supports vital vaccination oversight, manages immunization campaigns, and tracks patient records and potential side effects while adhering to international standards. Dr. Al Blooshi highlighted its role in strengthening health security by facilitating electronic connectivity between healthcare facilities, which is crucial for timely decision-making during public health emergencies.
With a user-friendly interface and integration with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Hasana utilizes cloud technology for scalability, ensuring accessibility to necessary services.
Dr. Al Blooshi reiterated DHA's dedication to enhancing public health through flexible systems that can adapt to evolving community needs while maintaining robust security protocols to protect sensitive health data.
