Dubai Health has achieved the Epic Gold Stars Level 10 designation for its Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, placing it among the top 3% of healthcare institutions worldwide using Epic.
The recognition marks the highest distinction in Epic’s global 10-level program, awarded to organizations that adopt and utilize more than 95% of the system’s advanced features.
The announcement was made at the Epic User Group Meeting 2025 in Wisconsin, USA, where healthcare leaders gathered to review innovations in medical technology.

Launched in 2017, the Epic EMR system integrates patient records across all Dubai Health hospitals and centers, giving clinicians real-time access to information. This capability minimizes delays in diagnosis, supports better treatment decisions, and enhances the overall patient experience.
Atif Albraiki, Chief Digital and AI Officer at Dubai Health, said the milestone highlights the organization’s dedication to advancing healthcare through technology.
“Achieving Level 10 reflects our commitment to using advanced technologies to elevate the quality of our healthcare services,”
he noted, adding that it aligns with Dubai’s vision of building smart and seamless healthcare systems.
The achievement underscores Dubai Health’s “Patient First” approach, with teams working to create safe and integrated care pathways. It also reinforces the emirate’s position as a global benchmark in digital healthcare innovation, setting new standards for efficiency and patient-centered care.
