Dubai Health has launched the Unified Health Screening initiative, introducing a single, integrated digital pathway that combines medical fitness examinations for residency and occupational health into one streamlined application and customer journey.

The initiative is being rolled out in collaboration with key government partners, including Dubai Health Authority, General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, Dubai Municipality, the Supreme Legislation Committee, and the Department of Finance. It forms part of the City Makers programme under the General Secretariat of The Executive Council of Dubai, aimed at delivering seamless joint government services aligned with Dubai’s Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Through a smart digital platform, professionals across multiple sectors can apply for unified health screenings based on their selected profession. Medical fitness and occupational health checks are automatically combined into a single application, enabling all required examinations to be completed in one visit. Once results are finalised, residency issuance is processed automatically.

Officials said the initiative strengthens data integration across government entities, accelerating procedures, improving accuracy, and reducing duplication. It also supports preventive planning and responds to rising demand driven by population and economic growth.

The service enhances inspection and regulatory capabilities by giving authorities access to real-time, verified data, reinforcing occupational health and safety compliance and proactive risk prevention.

According to Amer Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, the unified service represents a major step in simplifying the customer journey and elevating service quality through integrated government systems.

Unified Health Screening is currently available at Dubai Health medical fitness centres, including Garhoud, Al Nahda, Al Karama, Al Yalayis, Bur Dubai, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Zabeel, and Smart Salem centres, with further expansion planned to meet growing demand.
