Dubai Health has announced the introduction of 24-hour operations at Al Lusaily Health Center, effective from 1 January 2026, strengthening access to primary healthcare services for residents.

The decision follows feedback received from community members through the “Dubai Health Majalis: Voice of the Community” initiative, which encourages residents to participate in shaping healthcare services.

The move expands Dubai Health’s network of round-the-clock facilities and enhances the overall readiness and accessibility of the emirate’s healthcare system. Dubai Health currently operates 14 ambulatory health centers across the city, offering comprehensive primary healthcare services for all age groups. These centers provide multidisciplinary care, including preventive services, health screenings, and the management of chronic conditions.

Khalifa Baqer, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Health, stated that the transition to 24-hour operations at Al Lusaily Health Center is part of broader initiatives guided by community engagement. He noted that the Dubai Health Majalis were launched in alignment with the Year of Community 2025 and reflect Dubai Health’s commitment to translating public feedback into tangible improvements in healthcare delivery. During 2025, Dubai Health hosted five Majalis sessions across multiple areas of Dubai to engage directly with residents.

Dr. Ayesha AlBasti, Chair of Family Medicine at Dubai Health, said the extended operating hours demonstrate a commitment to improving access to integrated primary healthcare. She confirmed that Al Lusaily Health Center will join Nad Al Hamar, Al Barsha, and Dubai Airports medical centers in offering 24-hour services. The center will provide integrated medical care across several specialties, including family medicine and emergency care.

The “Dubai Health Majalis: Voice of the Community” initiative was introduced to support the objectives of the Year of Community 2025. The initiative brings healthcare leaders and residents together through neighbourhood-based gatherings, allowing community members to share feedback, voice concerns, and propose ideas. By fostering open dialogue, Dubai Health aims to ensure that healthcare services evolve in line with the needs and expectations of Dubai’s diverse communities.
