Dubai Healthcare City Authority has unveiled a AED1.3 billion development plan for DHCC Phase 1, aimed at strengthening its position as a leading destination for global healthcare investment.
The project will introduce a LEED platinum-certified office building, a purpose-built medical complex, and upgraded infrastructure to support the city’s growing healthcare ecosystem.
The first stage of the plan includes the region’s first LEED platinum office building, designed by P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd. Spanning 13,000 square metres over nine floors and three basement levels, the building will offer flexible office spaces and ground-floor commercial units while setting a benchmark for sustainable urban development.
A new medical complex, designed by Dubai-based Design and Architecture Bureau, will cover 5,800 square metres across five floors and two basements. The facility will house surgical units, laboratories, diagnostics, outpatient services, and medical offices, with adaptable layouts and smart parking integration to meet evolving healthcare needs.
Supporting infrastructure will include multi-storey car parks with electric vehicle charging stations, Salik-integrated smart parking, and full accessibility features, enhancing connectivity and convenience for the DHCC community.
Issam Galadari, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, said the projects reflect DHCC’s commitment to advancing Dubai’s healthcare infrastructure while attracting investment and fostering innovation.
Allae Almanini, COO, emphasized that the developments will boost accessibility, sustainability, and operational efficiency, reinforcing DHCC as a prime healthcare investment destination.
Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2025, with the project expected to be completed by November 2027.
