Dubai will host the third edition of the International Glass Manufacturing Show (IGMS 2026) from April 13 to 15, reaffirming its position as a global hub for the glass and advanced construction industries.

Set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, IGMS 2026 is the largest event of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, dedicated to the full spectrum of the glass industry—from raw materials like silica sand to the latest innovations in glass processing and finishing.

The event comes amid a rapid expansion in the region’s glass sector, driven by urban development, green building initiatives, and rising demand for energy-efficient materials. Governments across the region are tightening environmental standards, further boosting interest in smart and sustainable glass solutions.

Dubai’s strategic location and robust logistics infrastructure continue to position the UAE as a key global trade hub for glass manufacturing. With abundant high-purity silica sand resources, the country is seeing strong growth in both the construction and glass sectors.

IGMS 2026 is expected to draw over 150 international exhibitors and around 17,000 visitors, including industry professionals, buyers, and decision-makers. The show will feature a dedicated industry conference, innovation awards, high-level panels, and targeted B2B meetings.

A key highlight is the Regional National Programme, which will provide exclusive support for companies from the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, and Bahrain as part of an industrial integration initiative.

Market data shows the UAE’s silica sand sector is growing at over 5% annually, with regional flat glass demand projected to reach US$15 billion by 2031. IGMS 2026 aims to serve as a strategic gateway for businesses targeting expansion across Africa and Asia.
