Dubai is set to host the highly anticipated inaugural T100 Triathlon World Championship Final this weekend, with the world's top triathletes converging for a thrilling finale.
The event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and in partnership with Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism, will take place at Meydan on November 16-17.
The final press conference for the T100 Triathlon World Championship featured key figures, including His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, and triathlon legends Taylor Knibb and Marten Van Riel, who are currently leading the series. The event will crown the world champions in both the men’s and women’s categories.
The T100 series has been an exciting global journey, with the best 40 elite triathletes competing in seven global locations. The race weekend will also feature a Sprint distance competition for over 3,000 amateur athletes from around the world, all taking place under Dubai’s iconic skyline.
In addition to the races, the event promises a vibrant atmosphere with food trucks, family-friendly entertainment, and activities, making it an inclusive celebration of fitness and community. Dubai continues to establish itself as a global hub for triathlons, hosting top-tier events like the T100 as part of the city's 30x30 Fitness Challenge.
