Dubai will host the 5th edition of the Accessible Travel and Tourism International Conference (ATTIC-2025) from 7 to 8 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The event will bring together global leaders to advance policies, infrastructure, and services that enable People of Determination to travel with ease and dignity.

The conference will address accessibility across air, land, and sea transport, as well as accommodation and hospitality. Speakers include senior officials and experts from UN Tourism, Airports Council International, the International Air Transport Association, and other key industry players.
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted Dubai’s progress, noting its recognition as an Autism-Friendly City and the designation of Emirates Airlines and Dubai Airports as inclusive facilities. A session titled Lessons from Dubai will showcase the city’s achievements in accessible tourism, with contributions from local authorities and travel leaders.
Globally, People of Determination represent 1.3 billion individuals, a figure expected to rise to two billion by 2050. With over 257 million tourists actively seeking accessible destinations, the sector presents significant opportunities for growth and innovation.
