Dubai Hosts Over 60 Startups, Entrepreneurs at AI Connect
The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) hosted the highly anticipated AI Connect event today, bringing together over 60 startups, entrepreneurs, government entities, and investment institutions to accelerate AI adoption in the public sector.
Organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), the event focused on fostering collaboration between startups and government agencies to co-develop innovative AI solutions for Dubai.
AI Connect aligns with DCAI’s mission to support the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, which aims to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for AI innovation. The event provided startups with a platform to showcase their AI projects and engage with both public and private sector stakeholders.
Saeed Al Falasi, Director of DCAI, highlighted the role of AI in addressing key challenges within the government and improving operational efficiency. Startups like Musafir, AI Camp, Pixonal, Enterprise Bot, and Aqtab participated in a panel discussion, sharing success stories and discussing the critical role of government support in transforming ideas into practical solutions.
The event also featured a briefing on the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. This roadmap aims to improve the quality of life in Dubai through diverse AI applications.
Additionally, the discussions underscored the importance of increasing female participation in AI and addressing challenges related to AI development and integration. The event reinforced Dubai's commitment to creating an ideal environment for AI startups and attracting global talent through supportive infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.
