Dubai Humanitarian wrapped up a successful showing at the 2025 Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW) in Geneva, reinforcing its leadership in advancing digital transformation, sustainable innovation, and strategic coordination in humanitarian response.
As a key participant, Dubai Humanitarian led two major sessions and contributed to expert panels tackling critical challenges in global humanitarian operations. CEO Giuseppe Saba highlighted the forum as a vital platform for collaboration and solution-building, stating,
“We reinforced the critical role of digital transformation in aid logistics, championed local capacity building, and strengthened partnerships to shape a more sustainable humanitarian ecosystem.”
A standout session, moderated by IMPACCT’s Virginie Bohl, spotlighted the role of digital technologies in aid logistics. Dubai Humanitarian showcased its use of Advanced Cargo Information (ACI) systems, digital customs clearance tools, and the Humanitarian Logistics Databank—an initiative helping standardize humanitarian items through unified HS codes. The session also emphasized the role of digital platforms in streamlining warehouse management and stock tracking to improve emergency response.
Saba also spoke at the DIHAD-led session, “Humanitarian Diplomacy in a Polarized World,” addressing the sector's growing operational constraints. He called for stronger ties with civil society and the private sector and highlighted the urgent need for cost-effective solutions to rising humanitarian supply chain expenses.
Looking ahead, Dubai Humanitarian is preparing for its upcoming participation in the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition (DIHAD), where it will lead discussions on sustainable innovation in humanitarian aid.
