Dubai International Airport (DXB) is preparing to accommodate more than 2.5 million passengers between February 20th and 28th, marking one of its busiest travel periods of the year.
With daily passenger numbers averaging 280,000 and a peak expected to exceed 295,000 on Saturday, February 22nd, the increase is attributed to global events and school holidays in key markets.
Airport authorities are advising travelers to use the Dubai Metro for convenient access to and from the airport, as well as between Terminals 1 and 3, to avoid traffic congestion.
For those arriving at Terminal 1, please note that the Arrivals bus stop will be out of service starting February 21st. Passengers are encouraged to check the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) website for alternative transport options and updated bus schedules.
With these preparations in place, DXB aims to ensure a smooth travel experience for the millions of passengers expected during this peak period.
