Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global business hub, with the Dubai International Chamber reporting that 58 percent of multinational companies (MNCs) it attracted in the first half of 2025 came from Asia.
The data highlights the city’s growing appeal to international investors and corporations.
Europe followed with 16.1 percent of new MNCs, while the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) accounted for 12.9 percent. Africa and the Americas each contributed 6.5 percent, according to the chamber.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) mirrored this trend, with nearly half, or 49.1 percent, of new arrivals originating from Asia. The Middle East and CIS showed notable growth for SMEs, representing 22.3 percent of new entrants, followed by Africa at 11.6 percent, Europe at 9.8 percent, and the Americas at 7.1 percent.
The chamber’s efforts have translated into a 138 percent year-on-year increase in the total number of companies, including both MNCs and SMEs, attracted to Dubai during H1 2025. These figures underscore Dubai International Chamber’s ongoing strategy to promote the emirate as a preferred destination for global business.
With Asia leading both MNC and SME inflows, Dubai is cementing its role as a strategic gateway for companies seeking to expand in the Middle East and beyond.
