Dubai International Chamber Hosts First ‘In Focus’ Session of 2025
The Dubai International Chamber, one of three entities under Dubai Chambers, successfully held its first ‘In Focus’ session of 2025.
The event aimed to help Dubai-based companies explore expansion opportunities in Angola, Mozambique, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Drawing 160 participants from private sector companies in Dubai, the session highlighted lucrative trade prospects and effective business strategies while discussing the economic landscape and growth potential across diverse industries in these markets.
Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, stated,
“We remain committed to supporting Dubai’s business community in expanding into global markets that offer promising trade and investment opportunities. By leveraging Dubai’s unique position as a gateway for growth and impactful partnerships, we aim to enhance foreign trade and contribute to the emirate’s economic diversification.”
The event featured a presentation outlining the chamber’s initiatives to assist companies in international expansion, particularly in the featured markets. This was followed by a panel discussion delving into trade and investment opportunities.
‘In Focus’ sessions provide Dubai-based businesses with market-specific insights, including tailored advice on market intelligence, business setup, and forming joint ventures. These sessions also act as an introduction to the chamber’s ‘New Horizons’ initiative, which organizes bespoke trade missions, facilitates industry events, and coordinates business meetings to unlock investment opportunities abroad.
The event underscores Dubai International Chamber’s commitment to positioning Dubai as a global hub for trade and fostering growth through international collaboration.
