Dubai International Chamber Reports Strong Growth and Expansion in 2024

Dubai International Chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, has announced significant achievements in the first nine months of 2024, underscoring its role in supporting Dubai's Economic Agenda (D33).

The chamber's efforts have led to a notable increase in both foreign direct investment and the global expansion of local companies.

Between Q1 and Q3 2024, the chamber attracted 157 companies to Dubai, a 68.8% rise from the previous year. This included 39 multinational corporations (MNCs), a 117% increase from 2023, and 118 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), marking a 57% year-on-year growth. These results highlight Dubai's position as a leading global investment hub.

The chamber also helped 75 local businesses expand into new international markets, a 241% increase compared to the same period last year. By leveraging its international offices and diverse initiatives, the chamber facilitated the growth of Dubai-based companies through export opportunities and establishing a physical presence abroad.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, emphasized the chamber's commitment to promoting Dubai’s competitive advantages and strengthening its position as a global business capital. He added that the chamber’s international network continues to open doors for Dubai-based companies to access new, promising markets.

In addition, the chamber organized two successful trade missions to Southeast Asia and West Africa as part of its "New Horizons" initiative. Over 830 business meetings were held, fostering investment opportunities and partnerships across Indonesia, Vietnam, Senegal, and Morocco, further solidifying Dubai's international trade and economic partnerships.
