Dubai International Chamber, part of Dubai Chambers, has successfully facilitated 180 bilateral business meetings between companies from Dubai and Serbia.

These meetings took place in Belgrade during the first leg of the chamber’s trade mission to Serbia and Türkiye, under its 'New Horizons' initiative aimed at expanding local businesses into promising global markets.

The mission, attended by representatives from 13 Dubai-based private sector companies across industries such as electronics, food & beverages, IT, and energy solutions, included a forum titled ‘Doing Business with Serbia.’ Organized with support from the UAE Embassy in Belgrade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS), the event attracted 208 participants, including Serbian government officials and business leaders interested in partnerships.

A key highlight of the forum was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dubai International Chamber and CCIS, paving the way for enhanced collaboration through trade missions, events, and knowledge sharing.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasized the significance of the mission in strengthening Dubai’s economic ties and creating opportunities for local businesses. He expressed confidence in the mission’s role in boosting bilateral trade.

In 2023, non-oil trade between Dubai and Serbia reached AED 233.9 million. The forum also featured a panel discussion offering insights into Serbia’s business environment, further encouraging partnerships between the two regions.
