Dubai Future Academy, part of the Dubai Future Foundation, has launched "FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Programme," a pioneering international initiative aimed at developing future foresight leaders.
This program, the first of its kind in the region, is designed to elevate participants' intellectual and experiential capabilities through expert lectures, practical applications of future technologies, and advanced projects.
The four-week global training program aligns with Dubai's strategy to prepare individuals to lead in the future. It focuses on sustainable development and longevity, reinforcing Dubai's status as a global hub for exceptional talent. Participants will develop practical, future-oriented strategies and gain skills in Futures and Foresight thinking, Critical Thinking, Leadership Skills, and Longevity. The program includes hands-on experiences and exclusive field trips to Dubai's innovation hubs and labs.
Participants will learn about cutting-edge innovations, such as glass that can store information for 10,000 years, the 'liquid tree' that absorbs carbon dioxide, and lab-grown food technologies. The program aims to develop visionary leaders equipped to navigate uncertainty and prioritize health.

Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that the program opens applications to individuals from various fields to equip them with the latest tools in future foresight, leadership, and innovation. This initiative supports Dubai's strategy to enhance readiness for the future by exploring opportunities, experimenting with future technologies, and fostering global collaboration.
The program will be delivered by top global experts from institutions like MIT, Yale, and Stanford, including Fadel Adib, Professor Paul Saffo, Dr Michael Shermer, Dr Steven Novella, and Dr Danielle Belardo. It targets mid-to-senior-level executives, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, policymakers, government officials, and specialists in future design.
Applications are open until 5th September 2024, and interested participants can apply via the Dubai Future Academy's website. Graduates will receive certificates at the third edition of the Dubai Future Forum, the world's largest gathering of futurists.
