Dubai Islamic Bank Pledges AED 15 Million to Transform Cancer Care in Dubai
Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has announced a landmark AED 15 million donation to the Al Jalila Foundation, significantly bolstering Dubai Health’s mission to advance healthcare infrastructure.
This generous contribution will play a crucial role in developing the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital, Dubai's first comprehensive cancer care facility, slated to open in 2026.
The state-of-the-art hospital will introduce an integrated model of cancer care, offering a continuum of services from early detection to advanced treatment. It will house multidisciplinary teams, including specialized cancer nurses, and provide a full range of services under one roof. Additionally, select treatments will be offered in the comfort of patients' homes.
Nawaf Al Rayssi, Head of Community Support Services at DIB, highlighted the bank’s commitment to community well-being.
