The Dubai Judicial Institute has announced the second edition of its 'Future Research Competition,' inviting submissions until March 31, 2025.
This initiative reflects the Institute's ongoing commitment to fostering innovation within the legal and judicial fields, in alignment with the UAE's vision of a knowledge-driven economy powered by technological advancements.
The competition, which began accepting entries on September 18, 2024, is open to researchers and legal professionals across multiple disciplines. It features two primary categories: Books and Scientific Research, offering a platform for valuable contributions in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Space Sciences, Sustainable Development, and Startups.
Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director-General of Dubai Judicial Institute, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating,
"We strive to encourage research that delivers innovative solutions across various legal fields, in line with Dubai’s forward-thinking strategies. Our aim is to transform the legal system into a comprehensive work system based on scientific foundations."
The competition aims to attract pioneering research that can inform legislative frameworks suited to emerging technologies, enhancing transparency and flexibility within the legal system. This effort supports the UAE’s broader goal of establishing itself as a global leader in legal preparedness and innovation.
