The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the first phase of its new Digital Sale service through the Dubai Now app, marking a major step in transforming how real estate transactions are conducted in the emirate.
Unveiled during GITEX Global 2025, the initiative reflects Dubai’s ongoing push toward a fully digital economy and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033.
The Digital Sale service allows users to complete property registration and sale procedures entirely online using verified electronic signatures through the UAE Pass app. Buyers and sellers can finalise transactions remotely, 24 hours a day, with instant issuance of ownership certificates once payments are completed.
DLD said the service redefines the customer experience by simplifying procedures, accelerating completion times, and maintaining the highest levels of security and transparency. The initiative is expected to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate investment and innovation.
To use the service, both parties must have valid Emirates IDs, active UAE Pass accounts, and UAE bank accounts. Eligible properties must be freehold residential or commercial units, free of mortgage, and owned by a single individual.
Available on the App Store and Google Play, the Dubai Now app offers access to more than 350 government and private-sector services. Alongside the Digital Sale launch, DLD is also showcasing its Real Estate Instant Registration Platform and several other digital initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency, and sustainability across Dubai’s thriving property market.
