Dubai Land Department (DLD) has unveiled the Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator, a six-month programme aimed at transforming Emirati brokers into full-fledged real estate agencies.

The initiative, developed in partnership with Dubai Silicon Oasis, the New Economy Academy, and RIT Dubai, was announced at a press conference in Dubai.

Part of the national campaign The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World, the programme will kick off on 27 October at Dubai Silicon Oasis. Its first edition will support 50 Emirati firms, guiding them from individual brokerage to operating as established agencies.

Omar Hamad Bushahab, Director-General of DLD, highlighted the incubator’s role in strengthening the UAE’s property sector. He noted that Emirati brokers have become increasingly active, with 1,800 new brokers joining the market since 2024 and generating transactions worth AED10 billion.

The incubator will combine training, mentorship, and practical tools covering legal, financial, and operational aspects of real estate, while also emphasising technology, artificial intelligence, and professional ethics. Participants will graduate with accredited certificates and receive a year of mentorship to support long-term growth.

Leaders from Dubai Silicon Oasis and the New Economy Academy underlined the programme’s focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and capacity building. They stressed its importance in fostering Emirati talent and contributing to a sustainable, knowledge-driven economy.

By equipping brokers with advanced skills and global best practices, the Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator aims to cement the UAE’s position as a leading hub for real estate investment and entrepreneurship.
