Dubai Land Department (DLD) has been named the ‘Inspirational Brand’ at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards 2025, a recognition that underscores its role as one of the region’s most influential government entities in real estate.
The accolade highlights DLD’s efforts in strengthening Dubai’s global standing as a premier hub for real estate investment. By implementing international standards, developing a robust digital ecosystem, and introducing flexible regulations, the department has played a central role in making the property sector a key driver of the UAE economy and a magnet for foreign investment.
Technology has been at the heart of DLD’s strategy, with artificial intelligence powering services such as real estate advertising governance, the Smart Rental Index, Smart Valuation, and the Dubai REST app. These initiatives have streamlined transactions, enhanced transparency, and improved efficiency for both investors and developers.
In the first half of 2025 alone, DLD recorded over 1.3 million procedures, including 125,000 transactions worth more than AED 431 billion. The sector also welcomed 59,000 new investors, bringing total real estate investments to more than 118,000 with a value exceeding AED 326 billion.
The award also acknowledges DLD’s commitment to sustainability, employee wellbeing, and community engagement. Between 2021 and 2023, the department achieved a community satisfaction rate of more than 95% for its social responsibility initiatives, while its environmental and health activities saw success rates above 93%.
This recognition aligns with Dubai’s broader strategic vision, supporting the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, cementing the emirate’s position as a global leader in real estate innovation and investment.
