Dubai witnessed the launch of the inaugural Fazza Falcons Racing Cup today, an exciting addition to the world of falconry.

The event was graced by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and President of the UAE Falcons Federation, alongside H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The competition featured six races across three categories, with participants having qualified through the Fazza Falconry Championship (Al Telwah). Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed praised the visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, for elevating falconry to a globally recognized competitive sport.

Highlighting the significance of the Fazza Falcons Racing Cup, Sheikh Ahmed called it the "pinnacle of the falconry season," showcasing world-class excellence and exceptional performances that set new benchmarks in the sport.

The event also marked the inauguration of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center's headquarters in Dubai’s Lahbab area, with Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed touring the facility and praising the championship’s technical and organizational teams for their efforts.

Falconers from across the UAE competed fiercely, with top winners in the Sheikhs, Open Public, and Owners categories receiving accolades. In the Sheikhs category, Al-Nif’s falcon Helman claimed first place, while M7 dominated the second round. The Dubai Team swept the top spots in the Open Public category.

Sheikh Ahmed’s support was celebrated by falconers, who expressed gratitude for his commitment to advancing falconry and ensuring its global prominence. The UAE’s dedication to high-caliber events is strengthening its falconry community and raising the nation’s profile internationally.
