Dubai Launches 'Ideal Face' Initiative Offering Special Privileges to Long-term Law-abiding Residents
Dubai residents and Emirati sponsors with a clean residency record for the past decade will be granted "special privileges" starting November 1, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) announced. The initiative, named 'Ideal Face,' honors those who have consistently adhered to UAE residency regulations, showcasing them as exemplary residents.
Privileges under the program include priority when contacting the Amer Call Centre, faster service at Amer Centres, a digital 'Ideal Face' certificate of appreciation, and a mobile service vehicle for senior citizens to receive services at home. However, these benefits are exclusive to individuals and do not apply to establishments.
Eligibility criteria include being a UAE citizen or foreign resident, having lived in Dubai for at least 10 years, sponsoring individuals without residency violations for the same period, and maintaining a clean residency record in the current year.
GDRFA emphasizes that this initiative aims to promote social security and encourage adherence to residency laws. Lt-Gen Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, GDRFA’s director-general, highlighted that this initiative supports the UAE's vision for a safe, stable, and sustainable society while encouraging positive behavior across the community.
