Dubai has unveiled an innovative new program designed to enhance the digital communication skills of religious preachers.
The ‘Preaching Content Creators’ initiative, launched by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in collaboration with the New Media Academy, aims to equip 35 specialists with the expertise to create and disseminate religious content across various social media platforms.
Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Khatib, Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector, emphasized the significance of this program in advancing societal awareness and providing positive guidance.
"We believe that embracing modern media is crucial for crafting religious content that effectively reaches diverse audiences,"
Dr. Al Khatib remarked.
The five-week program, totaling 100 training hours, will feature instruction from 20 experts in digital content, public speaking, and creative storytelling. The curriculum includes comprehensive workshops covering essential skills such as effective media appearance, mobile photography, editing, and strategic content publishing.
Hussein Al Attouli, Director of the New Media Academy, highlighted the program’s objective to elevate the quality of social media content.
"Our goal is to equip content creators with the tools necessary to deliver impactful messages in a straightforward and effective manner,"
Al Attouli stated.
Beyond content creation, the program also explores contemporary trends in digital marketing and artificial intelligence, ensuring that participants are well-versed in managing their content professionally and engaging effectively with their audiences.
