His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, has officially launched this year’s National Month campaign, a citywide celebration of the UAE’s national occasions.
Running from Flag Day on 3 November to Eid Al Etihad on 2 December 2025, the initiative aims to inspire pride in the nation’s journey and offer residents an opportunity to express loyalty to the leadership.
For the second consecutive year, Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, will lead the campaign in collaboration with government, semi-government, and private sector partners. The effort is designed to unify diverse stakeholders in a coordinated celebration that highlights the UAE’s values, achievements, and sense of community.
“National Month is a collective effort to commemorate our national occasions in a harmonised way,”
Sheikh Ahmed said. He also announced the continuation of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, which honours the vision and generosity of the UAE’s founding leaders, reflecting the nation’s shared loyalty and aspirations.
The month-long campaign will feature a wide array of national, cultural, and community events, encouraging public engagement and pride in the UAE’s heritage. Last year’s National Month saw participation from over 200 organisations, and this year’s edition is expected to attract even broader involvement.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, highlighted the importance of coordination and community engagement, noting that the campaign builds on the previous year’s record of two billion social media interactions.
Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, added that creative programming will showcase Dubai’s innovative spirit, while entrepreneurs and SMEs from the Proudly from Dubai network will actively participate, presenting their work to the wider community.
The campaign underscores Dubai’s commitment to national solidarity, cultural celebration, and inclusive participation across all segments of society.
