Digital Dubai has unveiled a new feature on the Dubai Now super app, enhancing community engagement and improving city maintenance.
Named Madinati, this service allows residents and visitors to report issues such as broken roads, fallen trees, and other obstacles simply by taking a photo and sharing it through the app.
Powered by artificial intelligence, Madinati aims to streamline the reporting process, enabling users to inform relevant authorities seamlessly while going about their daily activities.
Matar Al Hemeiri, CEO of Digital Dubai, stated,
“Madinati is a joint effort between Digital Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and Dubai Municipality to provide a seamless experience for our people in the city.”
The AI system intelligently detects the issue in the image and routes it directly to the appropriate department, eliminating the need for human intervention.
Users only need to confirm the location, as the system can automatically detect it, making the reporting process efficient and user-friendly. This new feature is part of the broader suite of services offered by the Dubai Now super app, which includes 280 services from over 45 entities across both the public and private sectors.
Al Hemeiri emphasized the commitment to leveraging emerging technology to enhance the experiences of residents and visitors alike. Additionally, Digital Dubai is working on new solutions to improve talent management and expedite recruitment and training processes within government departments.
With the introduction of Madinati, Dubai aims to foster a proactive community approach to urban maintenance, ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for all.
