Dubai has introduced the Smart Security Breach Reporting System, a new digital platform developed by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority in collaboration with Dubai Police and Dubai Customs.

The initiative aims to enhance the sustainability of Dubai’s aviation security ecosystem and support the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to position the city among the world’s safest and most advanced.

The system leverages smart technologies and integrated digital platforms to enable real-time monitoring, rapid incident response, and seamless coordination among key authorities. It serves as a pioneering model of institutional collaboration designed to enhance governance, innovation, and preventive capabilities within Dubai’s aviation and security sectors.

Officials said the platform strengthens inter-agency communication and predictive analysis, empowering authorities to detect and respond swiftly to potential security risks. The initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to operational excellence and its continuous drive to maintain global leadership in aviation safety and efficiency.

The launch comes amid rapid growth in Dubai’s aviation sector. Dubai International Airport handled 46 million passengers in the first half of 2025, a 2.3 percent increase over the previous year, maintaining its status as the world’s busiest international airport. At the same time, the AED128 billion expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport is underway, set to make it the largest airport by capacity once completed.

With passenger numbers climbing and infrastructure expanding, Dubai continues to invest in intelligent security systems that reinforce its standing as a trusted global gateway and a benchmark for safety and innovation.
