Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has announced the official opening of registrations for the groundbreaking ‘One Million Prompters’ initiative, aimed at training one million individuals in AI prompt engineering.
Launched in May 2024 under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative underscores Dubai’s vision to lead global AI innovation.
Spanning three years, this program is a cornerstone of the ‘Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI’, fostering talent development and AI adoption across key sectors. Through a comprehensive curriculum, participants will gain expertise in generative AI and prompt literacy, preparing them for the rapidly evolving technological landscape. Modules include foundational AI knowledge, advanced chatbot interaction techniques, AI-powered productivity strategies, and creative applications in art and media.
Saeed Al Falasi, Director of DCAI, emphasized the initiative’s transformative potential, stating,
“It opens new avenues for individuals to drive AI innovation across diverse sectors, reinforcing Dubai’s global leadership in technology.”
Building on the success of the inaugural Global Prompt Engineering Championship, which attracted participants from nearly 100 countries, the initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to fostering AI literacy. Accredited certificates will be awarded to participants upon course completion, equipping them with industry-recognized credentials.
