Following heavy rains on Tuesday, April 16, many drivers in the UAE experienced damage to their vehicles due to waterlogged roads and flooding. Several cars were stuck in water, resulting in technical problems, damage, and lost license plates.
If you find yourself in Dubai with a lost license plate, the RTA has provided a solution for drivers to retrieve their number plate. Motorists can apply for a replacement plate through the RTA's website. Once the application is submitted, they need to visit one of the following centers to collect the new plate:
- Shamil Al Qusais
- AG Cars Al Mamzar
- Al Mumayaz Aswaq Mizher
- Tajdeed
- Tamam centre
- Al Mutakamela Al Awir
- Al Mutakamela Al Quoz
- Al Mumayaz Barsha mall
- Wasel Al Jaddaf
