Dubai Municipality has brought the Al Mamzar Corniche Development Project closer to completion, reaching 88% progress as senior officials conducted a field review to ensure timelines, quality standards, and operational readiness remain on track.
His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, visited the project site alongside executive leaders, project managers, and engineering teams. The delegation assessed construction milestones, supply chain stability, and readiness for the project’s anticipated opening.
The development forms part of Dubai’s broader strategy to enhance public beaches and strengthen its position as a leading global destination for coastal tourism. Officials confirmed that construction is in advanced stages, led by specialised Emirati technical teams, with strict adherence to safety, environmental sustainability, and service quality benchmarks.
Designed as a next-generation coastal destination, Al Mamzar Corniche will introduce integrated urban beach spaces aimed at improving quality of life and fostering community engagement. The project will include a dedicated women-only beach with night swimming facilities, designed to ensure privacy and safety through enclosed infrastructure.
Additional features include walking, jogging, and cycling tracks, fitness zones, children’s play areas, shaded seating, and a skate park, alongside food and beverage outlets and event spaces to support year-round activity.
Sustainability remains central to the project, with more than 500,000 cubic metres of sand used to reinforce shoreline stability and protect against climate impacts. The development aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to expand public beaches and deliver accessible, high-quality coastal destinations across the emirate.
