Dubai Municipality has announced full preparedness for Eid Al Fitr, deploying 477 engineers, supervisors, inspectors, and workers as part of a comprehensive operational plan.
The initiative aims to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable holiday experience across vital tourist areas and public facilities.
Key focus areas include food safety, public health, environmental protection, waste management, and security at public beaches, parks, markets, and recreational facilities. Intensified inspection campaigns are underway to enforce food safety compliance, particularly in entertainment zones and tourist attractions, ensuring hygiene and public health standards are upheld.
The Municipality is also conducting targeted inspections in malls, salons, beauty centres, cafes with smoking areas, worker accommodations, and community markets. In collaboration with the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs, special Eid events and activities will be organised in Al Quoz Industrial Areas 3 and 4, and Muhaisnah 2.
To maintain cleanliness, extensive sanitation efforts have been completed across Eid prayer areas, roads, beaches, and high-traffic zones. Additional waste containers have been placed strategically, with field supervisors on duty to uphold Dubai’s aesthetic and environmental standards.
Public health pest control measures have been reinforced in tourist hotspots, parks, and public spaces, with environmentally safe treatments applied as needed. Meanwhile, public beaches are equipped with security personnel, crowd control teams, and enhanced accessibility features for people of determination and the elderly.
Major attractions like Dubai Frame and Children’s City are set to host a variety of entertainment activities, further enriching the festive experience.
