Dubai Municipality has inaugurated the ninth season of the Hatta Honey Festival, running from 27 to 31 December 2024 at Hatta Hall. The event features 51 Emirati beekeepers and showcases diverse honey varieties while supporting the honey production sector and local SMEs.
Aligned with the Hatta Master Development Plan and the Hatta Winter initiative, the festival promotes investment, tourism, and sustainability. Highlights include honey auctions, a competition for the best Emirati honey, and workshops on honey production. Visitors can also enjoy entertainment, local crafts, and children’s activities.
Dubai Municipality provides quality assurance through on-site testing of honey products and prepared foods, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The festival is part of the broader #DubaiDestinations campaign, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to supporting local talent, small businesses, and sustainable development.
