Dubai Municipality has unveiled the region’s first integrated recreational vehicle route, positioning the emirate at the forefront of nature-based and road-trip tourism while opening new avenues for investment and outdoor experiences.
The initiative introduces a unified network of dedicated RV stations, serviced parks, and connected road routes designed to make RV travel accessible, regulated, and appealing for residents and visitors alike. It marks a significant step in diversifying Dubai’s tourism landscape beyond traditional urban attractions.
Under the plan, Dubai Municipality will develop the core infrastructure and establish the regulatory framework, enabling private-sector developers and operators to build, manage, and operate RV routes and parks across the emirate. This public-private model is intended to stimulate investment and support the growth of a complete RV tourism ecosystem.

The route will connect Dubai’s varied natural environments, including mountain, beach, and desert areas, through well-serviced and family-friendly stops. Visitors can expect a blend of adventure, nature, and cultural immersion within safe and accessible outdoor destinations.
Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, said the project reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovative and sustainable tourism models that enhance quality of life and create economic opportunities.
Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the initiative will feature year-round destinations integrating hospitality, dining, wellness, and recreational facilities. Incentives such as subsidies, reduced land costs, and flexible financing options are planned to support developers, operators, and RV users.
Dubai Municipality will promote the RV route locally and internationally, aiming to position Dubai as a regional gateway for RV tourism while encouraging environmentally responsible exploration of the emirate’s landscapes.
