Dubai Municipality has opened registration for the fifth season of its Farmers’ Market, a flagship community initiative that connects Emirati farmers and local producers directly with residents and visitors.
The market, returning to Quranic Park in Al Khawaneej, will run from 6 December 2025 to 8 February 2026 every Saturday and Sunday.
The event provides a platform for farmers to showcase fresh, locally grown produce while receiving support to grow their businesses, enhance agricultural output, and adopt sustainable farming practices. Last season, the market saw a 49% increase in visitor numbers, highlighting its popularity as a family-friendly and culturally engaging experience.
This season will feature 41 Emirati farmers and 16 local product and agricultural supply owners offering a diverse range of fresh and organic goods. Visitors can enjoy a festive atmosphere enriched with cultural activities, educational workshops, interactive sessions, and community-focused events.
Mohammed Ahli, Acting Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, emphasized the market’s broader value.
“The market is more than a space for local farmers to sell their produce. It is a civic experience that brings people together, strengthens appreciation for Emirati products, and encourages sustainable consumer habits,”
he said.
The initiative forms part of Dubai Municipality’s commitment to supporting local agriculture as a key economic pillar, providing logistical support, training programs, advisory services, and awareness campaigns to empower Emirati farmers.
Interested participants can register via the Dubai Municipality website by 20 November 2025. The market continues to reinforce Dubai’s dedication to sustainability, community engagement, and the promotion of national production, while offering residents and visitors direct access to fresh, high-quality local products.
The fourth season welcomed over 102,000 visitors and showcased a wide variety of goods, including vegetables, fruits, dairy products, honey, and dates, cementing the Farmers’ Market as a cornerstone of Dubai’s community and agricultural initiatives.
