Dubai Municipality has launched its groundbreaking Building Intelligence Platform at the World Governments Summit 2025 (WGS), reinforcing the emirate’s commitment to sustainable urban innovation.

This digital platform provides real-time, comprehensive data on buildings across Dubai, aligning with the city's vision of becoming a global hub for smart urban planning and economic growth.

Designed to enhance transparency and efficiency in the real estate and urban planning sectors, the platform offers investors, developers, and planners detailed insights. It integrates key metrics such as building height, number of floors, gross floor area (GFA), and multiple usage classifications. Additionally, it provides granular data on residential and commercial units, rental values, maintenance costs, and base price valuation, empowering informed decision-making in line with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33.

Marwan bin Ghalita, Acting Director-General of Dubai Municipality, emphasized the platform’s role in shaping the future of urban development, stating,

"The Building Intelligence Platform reflects Dubai's continuous growth and commitment to innovation. By promoting open data access, we are enhancing investment opportunities and urban sustainability."

Mariam Al Muhairi, CEO of the Building Regulation and Permits Agency, highlighted the integration of AI and economic analytics to advance Dubai’s smart city vision.

"Through this platform, we are driving urban innovation and strengthening Dubai’s resilience in adapting to evolving urban challenges,"

she said.

One of the platform’s key features is its Rental Index, offering real-time rental data to support investment strategies. Additionally, it optimizes urban planning by providing insights into multiple building uses, helping both government entities and private stakeholders enhance land use efficiency.

As a Smart City Partner at WGS 2025, Dubai Municipality is showcasing its latest initiatives to boost sustainability, urban appeal, and quality of life, cementing Dubai’s position as a leader in smart city innovation.
