In a bid to expedite execution procedures and streamline administrative decisions, Dubai has unveiled a pioneering digital system, Tanfeeth+.
The system, launched on Thursday by the Dubai Courts, revolutionizes the enforcement process by providing enforcement judges with direct access to crucial information regarding a respondent's assets. This empowers them to swiftly seize and sell assets if required, eliminating the need for cumbersome coordination with various departments such as property or transport regulators.
Tanfeeth+ aims to ensure the rapid execution of court rulings, according to Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, the director-general of Dubai Courts. He emphasized that the initiative significantly enhances the efficiency of judicial enforcement by reducing the time-consuming procedures associated with communicating with multiple entities.
Under this comprehensive digital initiative, Dubai's judicial department will collaborate with the Ministry of Interior to enforce liberty-restricting orders, travel bans, and asset seizures by integrating with the ministry's extensive database.
Key features of Tanfeeth+ include the Digital Writ of Execution seal, which facilitates the enforcement of court rulings without the need for physical visits to service centers. Moreover, the system introduces innovative mechanisms such as the Sale Notification System, which alerts court officials about confiscated items for timely sale, and the Automated Cancellation of Enforcement, which lifts seizures upon completion of payments.
To further streamline the process, Tanfeeth+ will implement an Automated Disbursement System to automatically transfer deposited amounts to the petitioner's registered bank account. Additionally, the system introduces virtual bank accounts to facilitate direct deposits of seized assets, ensuring automatic disbursement to each party.
Dr. Al Suwaidi confirmed plans to incorporate federal entities in the next phase of the initiative, underscoring Dubai's commitment to embracing digital solutions to enhance its judicial system's efficiency. With Tanfeeth+, Dubai sets a precedent for leveraging technology to expedite legal procedures and deliver justice swiftly.
