Digital Dubai has entered a strategic agreement with Microsoft to enhance the AI knowledge and skills of government employees, aligning with Dubai’s comprehensive artificial intelligence strategy.

This initiative aims to foster a knowledge-driven culture, drive innovation, and strengthen the digital economy.

The programme offers three training tracks. The IT Developers Track is designed for employees at varying expertise levels, including software developers, data scientists, project managers, and business specialists. The ‘AI for All’ Track provides government employees with an overview of AI’s evolution, future trends, and impact, accessible through Dubai’s Learning Management System. The Executive Track is tailored for organisational leaders, focusing on AI’s strategic applications.

Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, emphasized that AI is central to Dubai’s digital transformation, reinforcing the city’s position as a global leader in smart governance.

"This partnership with Microsoft strengthens government expertise in AI, supporting the ambitious goals of Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33,"

he stated.

Naim Yazbeck, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, highlighted the initiative’s role in empowering professionals and driving innovation, ensuring Dubai remains at the forefront of technological advancement.

Running for a full year, the programme is set to equip government employees with AI expertise, laying the foundation for a smarter, more competitive digital future.
